167 million.

With Jones franchise tag, we are about 18-20 mil under the cap right now.

On a positive note the Cards at this point only have 465,129 in dead money. I'm sure that will go up some but that's pretty darn good.

Cap Money doesn't get you a Lombardi.

Every year the Browns are in a prime spot to turn their franchise around, and yet every year, they fail at it.

The shock I see is that the Superbowl champs have the 5th most cap space. That is being in good shape AND having the trophy.

+1.

And looking at it from the perspective of the dumpster fire he inherited from Rod Graves where they where millions in dead money left from that disaster.

Exactly. They have all that cap space, so why in the hell didn't they franchise their best player? Idiots.

They are playing "money ball" (Oakland A's of MLB) at this point and I'm sure they have salaries for converted QB's to WR in their 2nd year with a ceiling salary. :)

Or as you said, idiots.

my lord... are we really already giving up hope on this year and looking at NEXT YEAR'S cap, even before THIS YEAR'S draft?! That's got to be a new record for this place.
