No, No, No as I have been told many times, you can't use injuries as an excuse, it's all part of the part.

The Raiders are bad, injuries are irellevant

So tell me... what big name players did the Bengals sign this past year?

Seems to me that they lost a better LB than they gained (Takeo Spikes vs. Kevin Hardy). Additionally they signed a couple of 3rd, maybe 2nd tier DL's.

What is different with the Bengals this year is coaching! There has been no great infusion of talent on that team over the past year. Their #1 pick has not seen the field!

Straight up the Bengals have no better personnel than the Cardinals, in fact I'd say they don't have as much talent on that team as the Cardinals have. Who would have argued with that prior to September this year?

Say the Cardinal Prayer;

Our Cardinals, Who art in Tempe,
Hallowed be thy name (apparently).
Thy draft #1, Thy season done,
In week 7, as it is in week 16.
Give us next year, a feeling of hope,
And forgive us for not drafting Leftwich,
As we forgive those who are still Plummer fans.
Lead us to the Playoffs, And deliver us from Turnovers.
For thine is the Interception, The Fumble, And the Penalty, for ever.
Amen

Then hope for Eli Manning and a head coach.

Classic memories .Section 11 can we get a revised edition ?? I could use a good Laugh.

OMG!!!!

I read about half the page till I realized this wasnt a new thread!

(Jumps out first floor window, leading to a slow painfull recovery. Alot like being a Cardinal fan. Only without the recovery!)

We should just keep this as a sticky and bring it out around this time every year.....how sad is this team? I mean really! Pathetic. Year after year we put a Pop Warner team on the feild playing against real NFLteams......:bang:

funny/sad how a post from a year ago is the same as it is now. It took me a few lines before I figured it out.

(banging his head on his desk wondering why why why did I think things would change this year)

Wait a minute.... we have four games left, bucko!

I thought we would go 8/8 this year. What an idiot I must have been when I posted that. I am not going to make any more win/loss predictions until this team goes 8/8.

I bet a friend $50 before the season that the team would be .500 or better. It was the easiest 50 bucks he ever made.

It's not officially over yet. Pass the Kool-Aid, and win out to earn me 50 bones, or clams, or whatever it is you call it.

that was the year of the minnesota game where mccown and threw to nate poole for the winning touchdown. most of us, including me, thought mccown was the qb of the future. most everyone was excited that green was hired has the head coach of the cardinals. that was when i was pushing for charlie weis and draft phillip rivers.
