What if the Suns make a push to sign Gordon Hayward...

Follow that up with a trade down from #4 to Markkanen or Zach Collins range + whatever other assets we can get.

Thoughts?

Why would you trade down.

I would like Hayward but you think he signs with a losing team. That guy seems destined to be the great white hope in Boston

I'm assuming that you're not looking at Fultz, Ball, or Jackson at #4 in this scenario. You take the proven FA in Hayward to play SF.. and you look at shoring up a young big .. maybe even get a later pick to grab another big like Bam Adebayo. Depends on Alex Len free agency and the price he'll get overpaid.

I think Jackson will be there and if he's not I just take the BPA.

Hayward would be great he's a legit top 5 SF but I don't know if he would sign here. You have two very young kids in Chriss and Bender you need to develop you'd have SF locked up with Warren and Hayward.

I think you just take BPA a more polished product like a Tatum or Fox

IF we want Collins we could probably make a move into the late lottery picks to draft him. At worst we give up Bledsoe but I would think we could trade future picks or take a bad contract and make a move to get him.

Anthony Davis or Blake Griffin

Blake Griffin no and no and then after careful consideration no.

Anthony Davis? That's never going to happen that's like saying well why don't we go after Lebron.

Boogie was our best shot at a legit star but the owner was in love with the kid from the Pelicans his name escapes me right now.
