I’m super confident Melifonwu will be there.

I was looking at NFL Draft Tracker and Melifonwu has the seventh highest grade for a cornerback and only Campbell and Melifonwu are left out of the top seven.

I wanted Freiermuth, but that was predicated on us not crapping the bed in the 1st round. We'll be forced to reach for a CB now...a 3rd or 4th tier one, no less.

We will be taking a RB or WR this round.

Players still on the board I am excited about.

Elijah Moore
Terrance Marshall Jr.
Rondale Moore
Nico Collins
Javonte Williams
Pat Friermuth
Tevin Jenkins
Quinn Meinerz
Asante Samuel Jr
Ifeatu Melifonwu
Trevon Moehrig

I still like Ojulari, Ossai, and Malcolm Koonce (though maybe a little early in round 2) as EDGE players but if we take another LB people may riot.

Is that your WR order or just the first names you thought of?

Rondale seems like a Kirk replacement. Elijah could be DJackson 2.0. Marshall intrigues me the most though.

Elijah And Rondale almost seem like the same player.

I think keim has backed himself into a cb corner. Couple of 2nd day mocks this morning had us taking Elijah Molden (slot corner) or Kelvin Joseph. I like both fine enough, but think Molden is duplicative of Murphy. And I think it meant passing on Javonte and Rondale which I think are mistakes.

lol...I wasn't even thinking about an order, let me look.

I forgot about Tylan Wallace as well.

If I were to rank them.

Elijah Moore
Terrance Marshall Jr. (though the medical is an unknown and why he is available)
Tylan Wallace (who I think I like more than most)
Rondale Moore
Nico Collins

Do we know what Marshall’s medical red flag was?

I think the Cards may be thinking that an improved pass rush will mask a weak CB unit, for now.

Rondale is a little more physical and Moore more polished. Both fast.

Elijah does seem like a more "standard" slot WR with potential to go out wide

Rondale has "unique weapon" potential, very unlikely to ever go out wide, and might be a guy who you might have to scheme touches for him

Yeah, don't let the opposing quarterback see our cornerbacks is a plan. :D

Good news is that all of them hit the "breakout age" benchmark which is an indicator of pro success. They are all in the top 20%.

So seems like u all wishing a WR in round 2

I like the Oklahoma state WR too as @Chopper0080 mentioned
Maybe can be a trade down option if Melinfowu Samuel and elajah Moore are not there

EMoore has shown skills and tape that he can play outside. I agree RMoore looks more slot only but great players find a way.
