Joy Dunne scored two goals in the third period as Ohio State defeated Cornell 4-2 in the NCAA women's hockey semifinals on Friday in Minneapolis.
The second-seeded Buckeyes (29-7-3) will play in the championship at 4 p.m. Sunday against the winner of Friday's late game between No. 1 Wisconsin and No. 4 Minnesota.
Ohio State won national titles in 2022 and 2024 and lost in the 2023 final to Wisconsin.
Ohio State took a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals by Makena Webster and Brooke Disher, but Cornell tied it 2-2 in the second with goals by Lily Delianedis and Kaitlin Jockims.
No. 3 Cornell finished with a 25-5-5 record.
