TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to New Jersey being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. New Jersey had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

I dont think NJ would want to trade Kidd for a pure salary dump. Also, I dont think anyone wants to commit to him without knowing he is healthy.

Basically, nothing will happen to he gets some games under his belt, if ever. I mean the guy had microfracture surgery on his knee. That is some scary stuff to risk 90 million on.

I'm surprised RealGM accepted that. I'm pretty sure there's a rule in which you (Walker) can't be re-traded so quickly, unless you are by yourself (i.e. not packaged with other players).

This trade was discussed a while back. The problem is that New Jersey (in all of their brilliance), decided to sign him to a ludacris 4 yr deal. There are too many question marks with Zo...I dont see anyone trading for him-at least not the Suns.

Maybe there's a medical research firm with some cash on their hands. I'm sure they could get some production out of him.

Not even for Howard. Howard will be on the IR by team decision. Mourning because he's, how shall I put it, injured.
Ok from a business stand point Howard will cost you money no matter what. Mourning would cost you money, but if he is unable to play you insurance pays for him???? If it was up to me It is a done deal.

IIRC, the Nets could not get insurance for Mourning's contract, and they knew that before they signed him. If I was an insurance company, I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole. So, if the Suns were to trade for him, they'd be paying all of his salary no matter what.
