Depends, mostly on price right now. 720p and 1080i is very similar, many people can't tell the difference, and many argue which is better. 1080p is obviously the best, but there are no TV shows that broadcast in 1080p, only HDDVD/Bluray/video games output 1080p right now.

Thanks DCR... I do not watch enough movies at home to warrant any further discussion or investment in the HDDVD/Bluray arena...

BTW - any idea as to when 1080p broadcasting will become more prevalent?

Actually, the part that you bolded, was not a part of the edit.. the differences that I added between 1080i and 1080p is what was added. Prosecution rests again, after not initially seeing this gem.

The prosecution really should learn to quit while he's behind. The part I bolded WAS the differences between 1080i & 1080p....
