...but how much political correctness are we willing to put up with?

Every one of you and every writer and commentator knows the Skins lost by 21 points. And not one single person on the sports planet has mentioned it yet.

ESPN is too busy knob slobbering over the Crapriots. I think they simply forgot there were the OTHER playoffs that started this weekend.

I never really knew why anyone was picking them in the first place.

I was at a party last night and someone mentioned the eerie coincidence between losing by 21 points and Sean Payton's number.

Is that what you're refering to, Skkorp?

Of Belicheat and the Pats yes I am. I'd rather see the Cowboys win the next 5 SB's than see the Patriots win another game (not really but you know what I mean).

Id rather see the Cards win the next 5 SB's than see the Patriots or Cowboys win another game (really).

but really, ill be sick if the pats and cowboys play in the superbowl in AZ

:D

Even better Arthur, but that wouldn't convey my hatred of the Cheatriots.

But yes I too would like to see the Cards win the next 5 SB's.

I'm guessing that's because not one single person cares about that game and every person outside of Seattle knows that whichever team won was going to go through a buzzsaw next weekend.

Just a guess. Barack Obama mentioned the 'Skins score last night.

Ah, more belittling certainty. Before yesterday, many had the Skins as serious SB contenders, on a mission.

Now, because the Skins lost, no one really cared about the game anyway.

Now every person outside of Seattle knows the Seahawks will go through a buzz saw in Green Bay?

Not this person. But don't let inconvenient facts intrude on your certitude.

I think lots of people wanted to see a real life movie with a happy ending. Now, as is almost always the case in real life, the ending was not happy. That just isn't as fun to talk about I guess.

How about the Cheatriots?

Nope not IMO. They were only doing what many other teams in the NFL were doing. They just got caught. There was a whole story how just the previous year the Jets were doing the same thing about a month or two ago.

So as far as Im concerned it was common practice in the NFL and a big non issue.

Shane thanks for ruining the thread, live in the northeast like some of us and then stick up for the pats, its all sickening. Listening to WEEI makes me wanna puke. The team is classless and it starts at the top. If the fans werent so arrogant and filled with a bunch of people who dont even know football then it might be different. Just as bad as sox nation, dont even get me started.

Just more sour grapes. You cant convince me ever that Pats fans are any less football knowledgeable then any fan from any team. Nor can you convince me that their fans are any more classless then Philly, Raider, or NY teams fans. I dont care where you live. You are getting nothing but Pats 24-7 because they are good. DAMN good and pretty much a dynasty team who just had the best season in NFL history. Thats just the way it is. No reason to hate on them. No different then the Cowboys of the early 90's or the Niners during the eighties.

I agree that Belicheck is classless. But that doesnt make him any less a football genious and I would take him as the coach of the CArds any day of the week. He is a bonafide super coach who is the best at what he does. That cannot even be debated. I still believe him to be more of the reason for much of Parcells success over the years especially in NY.

Such the genius what happened in clev? hes good but hes not the best ever. No sour grapes but the stuff up hear is sickening and it does matter where u live. I see nothing but pats fans, most of them werent fans until they won the SB. This town up until the late 90's was a Baseball town first, then hockey, then basketball, then football. More than half couldnt name the pats other starting CB or the C. You dont know the half of it, im sure CT sees it all the time too.

He was a great coach in cleveland too. He was just strapped by crappy ownership. Like many coaches of this team. The Browns have finally come out of the dark ages just like us. Are you really trying to say thet Belicheck isnt a great coach? You are really reaching if you are bringing up what happened in Cleveland. He is also the last coach to win a playoff game in Cleveland if Im not mistaken.

What do you think is going to happen if the Cards ever win the SB? There will be thousands upon thousands of fans wearing their gear and rooting for them like they have been diehards since day 1. Does that mean we will be a classless bunch of know nothing fans when that happens? Will you start to hate your own team?

Just the nature of the beast man.

I didn't give the Redskins too much chance in Seattle. The Seahags play tough there. If they had played in Washington, I would have called it even. Can the Seahags get past the Packers? Not in Green Bay. I don't see the Giants beating the Cowgirls either. I want to see The Packers crush the 'girls.

To be honest i hate fair weather fans, and no i obviously wouldnt hate my own team but i dont want people to be fans of this team just because they are all of a sudden good. Like right now bc of the new stadium the place is getting a lot of people. I have to watch every week and not hear the crowd noise like I do when i watch a lot of other teams. Its not like SDS there are people in the new stadium and the roof is closed a lot. If you're just going to go and just sit there its a waste of a seat.

Painting with a pretty wide brush.

Most Patriot fans are probably like fans of all teams, some have good knowledge, some have a little knowledge, most are complete morons...
the handy thing is you can replace "Patriots" with any other subject and get the same results.

I know this for a fact because I'm a happy member of the majority.

Not this person. But don't let inconvenient facts intrude on your certitude.

I guess I don't really understand to whom you are bragging. On the thread for this game, 61% of the people on this board picked the Seahawks to win. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/features/talent On that link, 2/3 of ESPN's "experts" picked the Seahawks to win.

The Seahawks may give Green Bay a game, but they're a different team on the road than they are at home (as I think we all witnessed). They lost at Cleveland, at Pittsburgh, at Carolina, and at Atlanta. Their defense can't play anywhere near as tough on the road because they don't have the crowd behind them.

The "facts" are in my corner, but don't let that intrude on your own certitude, I suppose.
