The Oklahoma City Thunder held practice on Thursday as they await their Round 1 opponent in the 2025 NBA playoffs. It's down to the Memphis Grizzlies or Dallas Mavericks in the play-in tournament to determine the eighth seed.

Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault, Chet Holmgren and Cason Wallace talked to the local media after practice. Daigneault discussed preparing for the playoffs, Holmgren talked about how he's physically feeling after being out for three months with a hip fracture and Wallace complimented Lu Dort and Alex Caruso.

The Thunder are three days away from Game 1 of their Round 1 playoff series. They will tipoff Sunday afternoon at Paycom Center and should enter the series as heavy favorites.

Here's a recap of the Thunder's Thursday Apr. 17 playoff practice:

Chet Holmgren on SGA: “You gotta be ready to let it fire. If he’s trusting you to make that pass and read, everybody on the backside has to be ready to be aggressive and make that play… Whether staff tells you to bomb it or not, he’s gonna tell you to bomb it.”
