The Oklahoma City Thunder held practice on Friday. This came a day after they blew out the Memphis Grizzlies for a fourth time this season with a 125-104 win fueled by a 17-0 run in the fourth quarter.

Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault and Jalen Williams talked to the local media after practice. Daigneault discussed Josh Giddey's recent play with the Chicago Bulls and reflected on the one-for-one deal that landed them Alex Caruso.

Williams did the same except he talked about Giddey's moment from a former teammate's perspective. He also discussed the origins of the Thunder's postgame interview tradition with Thunder reporter Nick Gallo.

Here's a quick recap of the Thunder's Mar. 28 Friday practice:

Mark Daigneault on Josh Giddey’s recent play: “I haven’t seen a ton of them with my eyes but I’ve seen the numbers and they’ve been gaudy. He’s playing great obviously. Trades are inherently mutually beneficial. That’s one where both teams benefited.” pic.twitter.com/RluxigkjCP

Jalen Williams talked in depth about their postgame interview tradition with Nick Gallo today. Said it’s all on the spot and none of it is premeditated: “We’re not sitting in the locker room like, ‘How can we mess with Nick this game?’ We’re not bringing props to the game.”
