Yeah, I used to post there under the CardinalJH handle, even hooked up with one of the guys and we went to the Felon game together, first game of 1998 I think, (he had gotten company seats or something that). I spent the whole game listening to some overgrown, steriod monkey in Felon jersey taunt us and the Cards, but we got the last laugh that year.

I started posting on the rivals board...I posted as scorpions...I was unaware when I registered that there was a skkorpion and everyone was getting us confused..so I switched when rivals turned into azprosports (I Think)...I never used AOL - I think rivals was going on at the same time - I remember reading on the rivals board about goings on at the aol cards corner..

No, what I remember was that you were one of the few people who thought the Cards were lunatics for picking Thomas Jones when they already had Pittman.

First Cards Corner get together was the draft party at Rockin' Rodeo in '97. Went with JRein40806 who I met through CC the year before. Remember meeting, NazDrew, Zeno, and Pdonaldo. I still have the loge seats that originally belonged to JRein.

Regarding Cards Corner,
That place was a great source of Cards info for out of staters. (As is this sight.) Someone beat me to the Sulla reference, but didn't Lee Shappell hang aroung and comment from time to time.

Yeah, Lee posted pretty regularly back on CC. He even started running articles in the paper using our quotes (not plagarizing or anything, he asked well in advance if he could quote us). CardsCorner was like a Godsend for me. Hard to find Cardinals fans (especially because at the time I was moving to NY for the summer). Kwamie Lassiter used to post pretty regularly on there and Larry Centers did a couple of times as well. Good board. Problem was that a lot of people got sick of aol and couldn't access it anymore...hence it just sorta died. (Gotta say thanks to Zeno for telling me to check it out though...never would have found this place if it weren't for people posting links) :)

haha so true. I used to rip on Lassiters play, and he actualy emailed me a few times with a cursed tirad lol. No one believed me on the board at the time, but many years later I have no reason to lie....it was true. But I wouldnt expect anything less from a competitor who cares about how he plays. I still say Kwammie wasnt all that good but I respect him.
