so basiclly we got screwed on the zarko deal?

That depends on who (if anybody) we get w/ the trade exception we got from Golden State. If we can pick up Kukoc or McCarty or Kenny Anderson or somebody who helps us win a playoff game or two, it'll be a good deal for us. Trades are supposed to help both teams, and hopefully this will be one of them. Zarko had a good stat line last night, which was good to see.

And it looks like my "draft Channing Frye early in the second round" idea has been scuttled. Oh well.

Did you call them?

I have never heard that a 2nd round pick would have similar conditions.

I called the suns and received the info I put here. I have done this for years to keep up with the trades before the draft.

Call them if you want, their number is on the site. They will take a message and someone will return your call. Be sure you ask lots of questions because they do not always offer a lot of info unless you ask.

I wonder what happened to Harvey, he was a hustler. I do not think he is on any team.

Donnell Harvey justed signed a 10 day contract with New Jersey on Feb. 2.

Thanks for the info on the conditions tied to the GS pick. Did not realize that we will not be in a position to get it this year.

Knowing that, I hope the Suns and Spurs negotiate delaying the selection until next year and take off the conditions. I believe this year is important for the Suns to add some youth. This draft is looking pretty deep. Draftcity has projections that change weekly and the latest had Joey Graham going in the second round as well as Travis Diener. I think that these guys are not super stars on their own but would fit in well with the system.
