If only I had evidence to back it up...

Oh wait I do.

The UK contact traces every positive case.

"NHS Test and Trace figures show nearly three-quarters of people are becoming infected at home, compared to 5% in pubs, restaurants and churches combined."

Unless you think the USA is significantly different societally that you should be any different.

Here a study from NY if you want

Counter point being that catching covid at a pub is the gateway to getting the rest of your household infected.

The numbers speak for themselves. Your far more likely to take it from home to the pub.

And the 'original' source of the disease that came into the home is.. is... is... not the home.

If you catch it at home the source is home.

Well, you've just earned the hat trick of:

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I guess infected bats flew all the way from China and infected those homes. Couldn't possibly be someone who went to a pub, restaurant, party, wedding, funeral, or was otherwise closely confined with people where one or more had Covid and transmitted it, which then was brought home.

Lol. It’s uninformed rhetoric like this that’s part of the problem.
Just cause you get Covid doesn’t mean you’re immune for getting it again. That’s the misinformation that is being spread by the anti vax crowd
See this is wrong too. The odds of you getting it again in a quick time period is very slim since your body builds immunity to it. There are instances where people have caught it twice but extremely rare to catch it 3 times. Why because your body builds immunity which is the same as taking a vaccine. You are arguing a point too where all of the people were vaccinated in the first place. If everyone is vaccinated and you show no symptoms I think you should be able to play. If the other team is vaccinated then what does it hurt. And if someone isn’t vaccinated than they shouldn’t be allowed to play unless they sign a waiver. What makes me upset about all this. Is the vaccinated still have to follow the same rules as the unvaccinated and the consequences are the same. That makes no sense to me. And I’m vaccinated.

But your point is silly. The chances of catching it at home is several times greater than anywhere else. So the whole "Keim shouldn't go out for a drink" argument is silly.

Your "original source is not the home" argument is hollow when 65-75% are in homes. If you want to follow that thread everyone caught it from China then I guess.

Right. Covid was spontaneously created in these homes without an outside source.

BRILLIANT!

The point is no one knows the whole truth about all of this. There are examples of all sorts on both sides. My case is sort of weird. I had all the symptoms for a couple weeks at the very beginning of the spread. I didn't go to the doctor for a couple weeks even though my oxygen level was around 85 all that time. I have never been one to run to doctors when sick or even take a flu shot. I always felt it was better to build my own immune system. I never get the flu and that policy seemed to work good for me.

Now back to the story. I finally called my clinic and nurse told me I needed to get to the hospital immediately. I still waited 2 days and finally went. Like I said, I had all the exact symptoms, but after several tests they said I didn't have covid, but other kind of lung virus. They gave me some pills to take and I was better in a week or so. Looking back, it was real bad, I could hardly walk and nearly passed out every time I got up or tried to do anything.

I guess the moral might be, what has worked for me all my life, finally caught up to me due to maybe age or simply the power of the viruses that exist today. Life evolves, even the harmful things. Maybe it all will get worse for humans as time goes on, with science trying to keep up with it.

Take the vaccine, wear a mask, go to the doctor. It can't hurt you to be safe and protect others in this day and age no matter what the virus or illness is.

Not sure you understand how percentages work.

The odds are you catch it at home from someone you live with or someone you invited into your home. Odds are they caught it at home from someone they live with or invited in. Odds are that person caught it at home too.

If your trying to suggest all infections spring from the well of bars, restaurants, cinemas, church etc it's simply not true. That's why it's only 5% in the UK. Home, work, school are the vast majority of sources.

Anyway best knock it on the head now. I don't want Chris getting his ban hammer out even though it's been pretty civil.
