Breakout game for Fitz, 5 for 94 and a TD, great block on punt return, really showed he knows how to play the game.

pace had a big game, he was in the backfield all game.

Dansby impressed me, tough kid and a real athlete.

Shelton getting better, one bad play where he missed Engleberger but overall he seems to be adjusting to RT.

I'm trying, I'm just too mad to make any more on the list.

There is a bright side??

Sorry, but I was all cheered up until the shutters went down in the 4th quarter. I didn't see a bright side in the end.

While I agree on the points you make, it time to call it quits if you do not find a single bright spot. Unfortunatly this will not win games for you.

I think this was a turning point for the season and it did not turn for good.

Man I'm p....

The one bright side of this is I hope Green kicks some serious behind for blowing this game. We were up big, and the Cards thought the 49ers were going to mail the rest of the game in. We should be 3-2 right now, but are 1-4. I am so sick of hearing about how the cards need to learn how to win. Even thoughthis game makes me ill, Greeen will make it a priority to have this loss pay dividends later in the season. And the other bright spot, we are in good position for a high draft pick.

I read your headline, Russ, and thought, "Okay on the the bright side, Russ," but felt I needed to give an East Coast guy (I think you are from Jersey or close to) the benefit of the doubt.

I agree with your assessment of Fitx and Pace. I commented on both during the game. I believe both will be super in future years. I just hope Green and the coaching staff and the rest of the powers that be can get everything to jive.

This loss hurts ... A LOT. It's nice to see someone pointing out the positives, even thought I am still extremely disappointed today.

You are right Russ - there were bright spots, and this whole thing is a process. We have young team and they choked - that does not mean they are bad! A terrible lose, but (hopefully) a learning experience. Man - what happened with Rackers kickoff?

ok on the bright side

we've been in everygame this year, no blowouts, no turning the tv off at halftime,
the cards are an entertaining team to watch, if not very frustrating

the 2nd to the last drive I got really incensed. wood or Green runs Hambrick offtackle right, when we know he's not an outside guy, and they predictably run blitz and stuff it. then the left handed pass by Josh, the bootleg is a good call if you set them up for it, but we hadn't really set it up, Josh didn't sell the fake, and they had him. NOw in that situation you have 2 plays, try to outrun the guy to the corner, or cut it up, get some yards and get down, not the lefty throw.

then on 3rd down we dump it short to Hambrick who on great effort nearly gets the first, if either of the prior 2 plays do anything we move the chains.

I am starting to believe that Wood is calling more of the plays than I originally believed, Green to me is just too aggressive if he knows he's got someone wounded he goes for the kill, Wood didn't.

If you reversed the playcalls and run that bootleg on first down, Josh probably scores.

I agree. Put Rattay on this team, and we are at least 3-2.....

Completely agree, he simply doesn't trust him yet, which makes it so tough to believe he committed to him.

Hopefully during the bye they'll open up the offense, Fitz seems ready, Johnson is coming on, the OL is coming together, open it up.
