Larry Allen, who might be the best guard to ever play, was once asked if there was a player he feared and he said Eric Swann and said every game the Cowboys played the Cardinals, he would go out of his way to tell his fellow linemen not to make him mad because once mad nobody could block him

Nah, Swann was a beast. He was as quick as he was big as he was strong. I've never seen another 320 LB DT that had a six pack like him.

I remember watching guys like Cortez Kennedy and thinking Swann was so much better.

Players that play get remembered. Swann could have been an all timer for sure, but I reserve more of my praise for guys that actually get it done year after year.
