The 'terrible' Davis seems to be doing quite well in Philly.

how so? the Eagles were the 29th ranked defense in the league in yards giving up 400 yards per game and were 18th in ppg giving up 24 per. That doesn't seem quite well to me.

our defense also added a guy who was a 2nd Team All Pro ILBer and a complete stud with HB that Horton didn't have.

Horton did a great job with what was previously an AWFUL defense and did another good job in Cleveland this year. He's a good DC. Nothing more, nothing less.

That said, Bowles did a bang up job last year also. Let's see what he does this year without that All Pro ILBer and HB.

Not only that, but Bowles also had the benefit of a decent offense.
