Only concern vs Saints

The only concern i have for tomorrow is the protection. We have all seen bad protection with this team and how it can ruin games. Ted Larsen i assume is playing left guard and Watford at RT. Watford is a big boy and there for i dont see him getting bull rushed despite his inexperience.

What do you guys know about the Saints D this year? I was looking at their depth chart on ESPN and didnt see any familiar faces other than Vaccaro, Cameron Jordon, and Browner at CB.

The run game will likely be somewhat subpar as well i would assume...

My only concern is Pat P vs Cooks. PP21 isn't top notch vs small shifty guys... but PP21 has lost a lot of weight and who knows how he'll do now.

I expect some Mathieu on him too.

Definitely a concern. Would Powers be a better matchup against Cooks?

Doubtful, PP or HB will be your best matchups due to Cooks speed. Having a safety over the top of him would be great too.

Just remember it's week 1 when most teams aren't firing on all cylinders offensively yet, plus our QB protection was atrocious in the rehearsal game. Come on Big Red!!!

I'm not concerned . BA kept everything pure vanilla during the preseason , tomorrow he will add the chocolate , the strawberry , the banana , the whipped cream , and the nuts . Saints Going Down !!!!

the Saints will likely win the battles in the trenches more often than not against us. the way our o-line has been looking,...their defensive front is far better....but that is all they have on defense.

offensively,...they have Drew Brees...we need to be in his face early and often....even with sub par receivers if Brees has time he will pick our defense apart...often out of the backfield against our suspect linebackers.
we have a better team, more talent and more depth....but our lines both need to play better than they have shown if we are going to win.

I am not all that worried about the Saints, especially since they traded Jimmy Graham. Colton has some size, Cooks is a heck of a receiver, but Brees looks like he has regressed. Defensively I cannot Name a single player on the Saints outside of Kenny Vaccaro (who had a very disappointing second year). I think Palmer takes care of business and we get after Brees on defense. I say 150+ yards rushing for us, 2 tds, no turnovers for Palmer, a sack each from Campbell and Okafor and a pick six for Honey Badger.
