I am going on the 7th, thanks to Iceman/Shaggy!!

Cool Jon! I wish I could attend one of the games, but I'm out of town all next week...

As much as the Dbacks have sucked and probably will suck again this year, I still get so amped up for opening day!!

One request - if you see any Dback players this year - run the other direction!! :number1:

collmenter bumgarner game 1, yikes.

it's gonna be a long long summer boys, hopefully the weather isn't too bad.

still excited nonetheless, nothing quite like baseball season. history and tradition will have me watch 90% of the dbacks games, but it won't be as easy as years in the past. excited to see some of the young talent, and hopefully we have a unknown kid do something special this year. like peralta last season. unexpected rookie performances are something to look forward to.

Collmenter may surprise a few in this game. I pick up the ticket package at Costco. You get a voucher for 2 tickets in the club level for $54.99. I have my tickets am anxious to go. I never miss opening day!

looking forward to tomorrow night. this is one of those times I don't mind splurging a bit for tix.

most excited to see RJ throw out the first pitch. the baseball pedigree working behind the scenes is undeniable and I'm curious to see how it translates on the field this season.

We can get opening night upper deck seats for $8 with an educator's discount through most school districts.

That's cool Brian but my wife cannot sit in the upper deck, tried it once. It's all good, looking forward to it. Have fun!

We've had seats up there for many games, but only sat in them once. We usually just move down to some open seats in the lower levels. Most games we actually just walk the lower concourse and watch the action from just behind the last row of seats. Move around as we want and see the game from different angles. Toward the end of the game we settle into the outfield seats to watch the last few outs.

Man Goldie was 0 for 4. Not a good start.

Goldy will get going, not too worried about him.

I think Collmenter is going to get rocked as a starter though. Certain teams might struggle with him but the more studious ones will get used to his goofy delivery pretty quick, and once they do he is done, his pitches have nothing on them.

And I will say for the 1000th time... Trumbo should not be in the NL. That guy is the absolute worst out fielder I have ever seen, all that talk about how a move to right from left would fix his problems went out the window as he was challenged to make a play, and promptly looked like a little leaguer.

Loved seeing Hudson throwing 95-96 mph fastballs. I think he will be part of the rotation before the All-Star break.
