If Holliday or Okeafor do not accept a contract, I think Thomas may be a good fit. He's improved in each of his first three seasons and has good speed. A negative is we would have to give up our 6th round draft pick.

Adalius Thomas
(BAL)
Given the low tender by the Ravens

Player Data
DOB: 8/17/1977 College: Southern Miss Exp: 3

Contract Status
Free Agent Type: Restricted Free Agent 2002 Team: BAL 2003 Team: Unsigned

Notes: Given one-year tender offer. Ravens would receive a sixth round choice if signed by another team.

Any thoughts?

"Elephant" end type, a pass rush specialist in a 4-3 or an OLB in the 3-4 which is basically how baltimore used him. He's a pass-rush only guy who's not really fast enough to rush the passer at this level, so he's of limited use!

the Ravens have been waiting for him to become a pass-rush threat and it really hasn't happened. you'd be paying him for potential, not performance, so i wouldn't go after this guy.
