I'm not much of a thread starter on here as a pokes fan of corse. But last year at the dallas game I saw some tillman jerseys and thought if I ever had the chance I would buy a tillman jersey and wear it to the cowboys/cards game if I ever go back to a game there. Not because I like the cards, but because I like pat tillman and hope that his legacy lives forever.

But on that note, is there any player in the league of an opposing team that you would wear his jersey? For me Pat is the only one.

It's a good question. I'd never really thought about it but it really is a team thing. I have a lot of respect for a lot of players both past and present, but the only way I'm wearing their jersey is if it's Cardinal red.

that's pretty much how I feel. I know there are a lot of fans out there that will wear other jerseys though. I don't even wear cowboys jerseys other than a troy aikman one i have.

I'd wear a P Manning jersey. As a kid, I always respected Unitas & the Colts. I HATE the Pats, Steelers & Broncos, so I find myself rooting for the Colts a lot.

Current players? ...hmm, maybe Todd Heap or Terrell Suggs (ASU guys)... that's about it.

I used to wear a John Elway jersey as a kid. I saw an old Favre Falcons jersey that is way out of my price range that I'd wear. Other players:

Terrell Suggs, Chris Johnson, Steve Slaton, Adrian Peterson. Mainly players that I wish we didn't pass on.

I would wear a Jack Youngblood jersey, but not the ones you see in the stores. I'd wear the one that said "Jack Youngblood" on the back. His brother Jim was on the same team so they had to have their full first names on them.

I would also wear a Bo Jackson jersey due to his phenomenal talent.

Of course, I only wear Cardinal red on gameday.

I can't really think of any other player's jersey (past or present) that I would wear.

The same as others have responded I might consider wearing a retired HOF player jersey. But the thing is, I would never go so far as to buy a jersey that's not a Cardinals jersey! Even if someone had given me a non-Cardinals HOF player jersey, as I said, I might wear it, but I would never wear it to a Cardinals game!

Also, it bugs me when people wear gear to a game that is from a team other than the two teams playing.
