Forget Tiger, invite Bob Barker. And maybe import that giant alligator from the Florida Golf Course. That would give us spectators something to watch if the golf is boring.

I am by far the world's worst golfer. Every time I've played I've always lost at least 7-10 balls in the drink.

I have a groundhog and a squirrel to my credit. Hit them with low screaming liners. Both were sickening THUDS! I figure the groundhog survived, the squirrel I seriously doubt he did. The ball knocked the squirrel several feet back. Rocks and trees I have many to my credit. Trees are far and away #1. I seem to prefer hardwood to softwood trees. PETA would hate me.

So, giving this some thought again and want to start moving on it. Hopefully we can put something together for the beginning of next year. Would love to hear suggestions on possible courses, prizes, dates, etc....

This is a great idea.
If it ever happens what about making it a Saturday of a game day weekend, that way those out of Townes might be more likely to rock up. I am planning on heading over next season so would happily make it the golf weekend. I still need to play Birdman after his offer last time I was over.... I get a mulligan and a shot a hole right BM21?

I would play but I am a special kind of awful. I only half swing on drives.

That is exactly why you should play!
I hope there are incentives for some the terrible golfers like myself to participate. I think a lot of us have no expectation to win but would like to drink beer and create divots.

Would love to do this, but ideally, would try to couple it with going to a Cards game. Golf on Saturday & game on Sunday. My claim to golf fame is making a hole in one in an outing & winning a Buick. That was 12 years ago & that Buick was finally put to rest earlier this year.

I don't golf anymore because I have these defective clubs that always slice right into the trees.
