If Joe Namath can get in, then I see why not these two cant get in.

Wrong comparison. Completely different era. Namath played when the rules SIGNIFICANTLY favored the D. Namath also orchestrated the greatest upset in SB history. That feat will never be topped. The Giants beating the 18-0 Patriots was nothing compared to the Jets beating that Colts team. You had to be alive to understand that he beat one of the great NFL teams of all time. That Colts team was supposed to beat the Jets by close to 30. And at a time when the AFL was considered the minor leagues. And yet Namath sat on a beach with the hottest women EVER & guaranteed to the media that the Jets would win. Colts defensive players were seething going into that game. Hell, Namath's knees were shot when he was in college. He played his entire NFL career on one leg. His release was every bit as impressive as Marino's.
