The #Colts are signing LT Anthony Castonzo to a two-year, $33 million contract extension, source said.
That Hump extension is looking exactly as most of us thought: a solid market value signing.
Tunsil is looking for $18-19 mil per, and Tunsil isnt really that much better than Hump.

100% disagree but that's ok.
In most cases, you are paying top dollar for what someone has done.
In this case, we are paying him top dollar for what we hope he might do.
Most cases?!? If you are paying a player for what they HAVE done, you are doing it wrong.
Todd Gurley and David Johnson.
Pay guys for what they WILL do. There were plenty of people on this board who flat out called the insanity of paying David Johnson because many of them said they thought he wasnt going to play better.
Humphries took a leap forward last year and by all accounts is in the best shape of his life. He is an ascending player by all metrics.
C'mon man.
Who typically gets paid more...the RB who averaged 1,500 yards and 15 td's or the one who has averaged 500 yards and 3 td's? How about the player that has been injured most of his career and inconsistent like Humphries...top 5 money?
Of course you expect them to keep doing it...that is what you are hoping for in the future but its mostly based on what they have already done. Why do you think most big free agent signings don't live up to the contract?
Humphries got top 5 LT money for playing a full 16 games for the first time in 5 years and significant hope that he will get better in the future. He hasn't earned that contract and the odds are against him in the future...based on his performance and injury history in the past.
