The #Raiders made Trent Brown the highest paid Offensive Lineman in NFL history and are moving him from Left Tackle, where he excelled with the #Patriots to Right Tackle.

Jon Gruden announced Kolton Miller, who struggled last season, will start at Left Tackle.

ATLANTA -- Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton says the rehabilitation from shoulder surgery is going "unbelievable," and he hopes to be throwing before training camp.

"I'm feeling great now," Newton told ESPN in an interview from "Fellaship," his Atlanta-based cigar bar/restaurant that held its grand opening this past weekend. "I feel like I do have full strength right now. But me telling the doctor, that is different than, you know, whatever the clearance process may be.

The #49ers and star DL DeForest Buckner have had contract negotations for a long-term deal but are far apart, source said. Agent Chafie Fields talked with SF brass in the last few days, but there is no deal in sight. They picked up his option last week and is a priority for them.

The Seahawks were very fortunate with guys like Bennett, Avril, Wagner, Chancellor, and a slew of others, taking team friendly deals that allowed the team to have tremendous cap flexibility in the past, but those days seem long gone now.

If I'm Wagner, I'm setting my sights on Mosley's contract and I'm not budging a bit. Wagner is the best MLB in the NFL by a good margin right now, while Mosley isn't even the best MLB in the AFC East.

The Dallas Cowboys have made more progress in their contract negotiations with quarterback Dak Prescott than Amari Cooper, according to a source.

And while Cooper’s demands were deemed shockingly high for a team that openly recognizes the floor of his contract is $16 million annually, the Cowboys seem to be nonplussed about making Prescott the highest paid player in team history.

Tampa DE Jason Pierre Paul suffered a potential season-ending fractured neck injury in a single-car accident last week in south Florida, league sources tell ESPN. Pierre-Paul will visit neck specialists this week to get their opinions to see if there’s hope to save this season.

The latest on Jason Pierre-Paul from @NFLTotalAccess: Several doctors will review his scans in the coming days. Concern is it’s a fractured vertebrae in his neck. If surgery is required, he’d face a 5-6 month recovery. But no decisions yet on how to proceed.
