Teams I’m hearing that have some level of interest in Gerald McCoy so far, per league sources: Bengals, Falcons, Patriots, Browns, Colts, Saints.

Free agent DT Gerald McCoy has told interested teams he will visit the #Browns first, sources tell me and ⁦‪@RapSheet‬⁩. Visit to happen in the next day. Among the other interested teams in the former #Buccaneers lineman are the #Panthers and #Bengals.

The one video I saw of Murray throwing a pass was a dump pass to Fitz and everyone goes gaga but here is Rosen throwing a nice deep ball and the reaction here is 'meh'.

#49ers S Jimmie Ward did, in fact, fracture his collarbone, sources tell me and ⁦‪@MikeGarafolo‬⁩. Out for the rest of the spring, though his exact timetable is not yet clear.

If there was a better QB available, yes.

Goff isnt that great. He had a stretch last year where he was downright awful. Not quite Rosenian bad, but bad.

I'm not understanding calling Rosen a bust or average QB. Everyone knows that our offensive line was beyond terrible and by the end of the season Rosen was simply shell shocked. Not to mention that both offensive coordinators were God awful. The kid never got a chance to shine. We'll see how he does in Miami. Also, the only reason we got rid of him is to get a QB better suited for Kingbury's system. If he was a complete bust, Miami wouldn't have traded a 2nd round pick for him.

Other than Fitz or Kirk, who did Rosen have to throw to (that could make a catch)? DJ was the 3rd best WR but last year's coaches were too busy running him up the middle to focus on his receiving skills.

Makes you wonder. He didn't sign with us until late July last year for $1.5 million/ Maybe we can get him back around that price again this year, nice depth for cheap and gives flexibility to move Budda to the slot if needed in PP's absence.

IMO Troy Aikman isnt even a top 50 QB. He was a caretaker of a great offense. His best season is similar to Phil Simms' best season.

If Rosen became Troy Aikman good riddance.

The 49ers have released OT Anthony Davis, who is seeking reinstatement into the NFL. Davis, now 29 years old, is now a free agent and eligible to speak to other teams.

Fitzgerald may be the starter out of the gate, but you just know he'll have a 5 pick game somewhere along the line & Rosen will be given a shot. It'll be up to Josh to make something happen. I'll leave it at that.
