OT Brian Robinson RB shot multiple times in attempted carjacking

Apparently in stable condition suffering from multiple lower body injuries. Sounds like he's not in any danger of dying but it's not clear yet what impact it has on his football career. Literally a day after being named the starting RB in Washington.

Crazy. Apparently it was a robbery attempt. Shot in the "lower body." I've never been shot and hope I never get shot, but I can't imagine playing football after this kind of thing.

Hope he makes a complete recovery.

I live in the area and the court system’s reluctance to punish criminals out here has DC and Baltimore looking like the Wild West. Teenagers are carjacking people left and right. I avoid both areas at all costs and keep a gun loaded and within reach whenever I have to go through. I had multiple hidden holsters installed in all of our vehicles last year. I’m not even licensed to carry in DC but it beats the alternative.
