What a surprise.

Rob Housler - TE - Browns
Coach Mike Pettine said it's obvious TE Rob Housler needs to work on catching the ball.
It's not a good sign when you're a pass-catching tight end and you're getting called out by the head coach for failing to catch the football. Housler is listed third on the depth chart, behind Gary Barnidge and Jim Dray.

How many times a season do we see a drive killed when our TE drops a perfect thrown pass on 3rd and short. I will love it when we spend a draft choice on a top TE. Too bad our coaching staff doesn't feel that is an important part of our offense.

Troy Niklas was a 2nd round pick, right?

I guess we owe the Browns a thank you. When they signed Housler it most likely put us in line to receive a Compensation Pick in next years draft. Assuming he makes the team of course.

Ive seen more out of Ifeanye Momah in training camp then Housler the entire time he was here. Why is he still getting paid to be in the NFL. He sucks out loud.

Is that the same Jim Dray of Kerouac9's dreams?

Bad ass username. Wish it was mine.

Once the Browns figure out Housler catches better when the football is fired into his facemask, it will be all good in Browns country.

Good Grief!!

HTF does a guy who can't block OR catch land on not one, but 2 NFL rosters?

That's seems about as likely as me being a pitcher in MLB... for the record, when I was in HS I could throw a 72 mph fastball, and had absolutely zero movement. :D

How did a guy who couldn't pass block & wasn't all that in the run game con the same team into 2 highly paid contracts for sucking? Levi Clown cough cough  lol

Some peeps look at physical attributes instead of actual performance

Twice? Cut for bad play then signed again. But then again, we did it with Ryan Blindley as well lol
