He’s not very coachable, is what I’ve heard. Injury case and makes mistakes at the worst times plus high salary is why he got moved. Literally both Coach and GM couldn’t say nice things about him at the Combine.
My buddies who are big commanders fans are really unhappy with the trade.

His passer rating and QBR suggest the fans are wrong.

What I had read, was he would play solidly for stretches, and then make mind numbingly horrendous plays at the worst times. And he did it regularly throughout the season. Just something I happened upon so take it for what its worth.

So why did the Colts’ FO decided to get rid of him after one year after spending a *first* for him, Brit?
Irsay was reportedly furious that Wentz refused to get vaccinated, then got infected, missed a week of practice, and played poorly in the Colts' loss to the Raiders - which caused them to miss the playoffs.

Sure, but if I completely the first one you would have to be fairly confident of completing the 2nd right?

It's not like he's Jamies and had 25 INT's. He had 7.

His INT % was 3rd best in the league.

I would be too if I was an owner - your star player is selfish and ignorant

So the Eagles signed Wentz to a fat 3rd year extension they later regretted because they weren't sure about his leadership and had concerns about his personality? Sounds familiar...

At least they had the excuse that he would have been MVP and likely won a Superbowl before injury.

Is Carson Wentz better than Kirk Cousins? The Colts determined that he wasn’t, so they cut bait on him to find a QB who is better. That’s reasonable.

The Commies couldn’t find a path to a QB better than Kirk Cousins, so they gave up a little bit to get a player who might be marginally better (but much more marketable) than Taylor Heineke.

The Commies basically traded for 2018 Sam Bradford and should be roasted appropriately.
