What are the odds of hitting the upright 6 times this year and now throw in a crossbar. Feel for the kid. We should sign him if he is cut. Odds say he shouldn’t hit another upright for the next 3 years!

The morning news showed Double Doink t-shirts already.

I also blame the special teams coach. Six doinks in one year means there is something amiss in his approach. Why didn't the coach fix this? It probably is a minor adjustment. It could be his support foot placement, his angle of approach, his foot position when he strikes the ball, it could even be how he turns his hips. This is no different than fixing a soccer player taking PKs.

I wish Dawson would have been that close.

Truth be told, kickers miss, even the best kickers. Justin Tucker missed an extra point for the first time in his career and also missed an easy FG for him, badly I might add, yesterday. But, yeah, doinking the upright 6 times including 4 in one game is not good. Also, they're basically stuck with him thanks to the idiotic contract they gave him.
