OT- Colin Cowherd to leave ESPN for Fox Sports

Usually I get why we have become a PC culture and for the most part agree with it. In this case I think it's an over reaction and makes me think we need to reel back the PC police a bit.

As much as people didn't like Cowherd at least he was somewhat interesting at times. Off the Edge with B-Train is downright horrible IMO. Just flat-out BORING and a 24/7 Cardinals ass kissing fest. Which, I'm assuming is the entire point of the show. But still.

I thought the same thing about an hour ago when I turned my radio in the office off. I can't take "too blessed to be stressed" any longer. On the bright side i can make 10am-noon time for listening to some tunes instead perhaps.

I generally can't last for more than 10-15 minutes before turning it off. My 10:00-12:00 is now usually spent listening to podcasts, or the last hour or so of Burns and Gambo from the previous day.

Off the Edge is just unlistenable IMO.

He needs a better partner to beat ideas off. Everyone else has a partner that talk equally between the broadcast. B-Train doesn't. He has a guy, but he talks maybe 10% of the time.

It's really bad but radio is difficult as a Lone Ranger. I disagreed a lot with Cowherd but always liked listening to him. I think Bickley & Marotta have on air chemistry that is unmatched (Burns & Gambo are close but a 4 hour show is too long and they have to repeat everything because of it).

Doug & Wolf are homers that just suck up to everyone.

I caught some of the beginning of his show on FS1.. they have a hot blonde in front of the microphone off to the side, and they kept showing her on screen in front of her microphone, and she didn't say a damn word for like 15 minutes I was watching.

I usually am unable to listen to his show but I listened the other day. By the third "too blessed to be stressed" I couldn't take it any more. I was also pretty surprised he was taking calls because I thought 98.7 had abandoned that quite a long time ago.

I think Kenny & Crash is the best local program by far. But now they've been moved to some ****ty EVENING time slot. Can't stand these network guys we get stuck with now at various times of day (Bomani Jones? Please!). Burns & Gambo are OK, but they repeat themselves over and over and over and over again, on just about every topic - and take zero phone calls, which seems to be the local norm, other than for K & C, and Bob Kemp & Roc & Menuch on 1060.

Gambo and Burns habit of repeating every point 12 times is maddening. Burns is especially bad, if he says something he thinks was clever he then tries 20 times to state it again, only slightly more profound.

IMO Bickley and Moratta is the best local show right now. Bickley's voice is annoying but he is pretty astute on a lot of topics, and not at all a homer like most of the local guys, and Moratta is flat out hilarious.

I'm back to listening to the Herd on FOX radio and I heart radio...thank God I don't have to stomach Le Batard in Colin's former spot.

4 hours is too long? How long are the shows out there. All the Boston talk shows are at least 4 hours some 5 and we have two different stations.

Not shocking that B&M is the best show on their lineup by far.

Gambo and Ash used to be 5 hours. It was like two 2.5 hour segments just repeating each other.
