On "The Best Damn Sports Show Period" they said there was a charity game with only pros and he scored 67 points a couple of days ago. If he is healthy, I think he would be worth the risk of a 1 year deal for the minimum to see what he can do off the bench. I lived in Cleveland his rookie year and showed some flashes, but he has some really wierd injuries, like a bladder infection(13 games misses), and a infection in his intestions that they remove(all but 11 games missed one year). He is only 23 after all.

When you see a guy who just has bad luck with injuries, you have to root for them. He at least has a offer to play over seas for Maccabi Tel Aviv according the article below.

I already mentioned him in one thread. The guy had some problems throu his one year in college and when he got to the NBA it got worse. At the end he was diagnosed colitis - he had inflammation of the colon or large intestine. Last year he had an operation, and it's been said, that the guy is back and healthy.

I would definetely love to see him in the Suns jersey. There can never be too many shooters for the Suns. Besides, he wouldn't cost anything

Might as well resurrect another career. It would be considered charity if we gave him a contract which is a tax write-off, so we know Sarver would be really interested.

Seriously though I wouldn't mind, but I'd rather go find a big man. Hope he does well wherever he goes though.

I think because it's not "technically" a Suns thread.

Well - Suns right now have 12 players under contract - max is 15. So there is room to sign both Dajuan and a big man. Wagner still doesn't cost anything, and if revived - maybe a nice piece to trade later or free up roster from someone else.

This was not directed to be a thread about the Suns being involved. I just heard the story and found it interesting.

i think he's DONE. nobody comes back from an injury like that and is anywhere near the same player they were. why do you think nobody has had him in for workouts or that we've heard anything about him?

Ignoring your smilie.

He had his COLON removed! Why do you need a colon to play basketball anyway? You don't use it to run or jump.

Aside from frequent trips to the john, I can't imagine that it would be a problem.

He could be the first pro-NBA player to wear Depends on the court. Imagine the endorsement deals! How cool would that be?

(I'm sorry, its in poor---um--taste. But I'm an NBA fan, and its August.)

I think asudevil is just trying to parody pokerface, in his rants about Jay Williams.

It was a little known fact that James Worthy was born without an anus. Look how well he did!

Dajuan Wagner is a little too close to barbs, skillwise. He is even smaller and not as long defensively so his potential there is even less than Leo's. If the suns were big at guard, he'd be worth a try, but the suns are small at guard.
