So my question is..... was B.O’B covering for him?.... perhaps this issue is at the root of the Texans abysmal collapse?

That’s interesting why would she drop her case?

Saw the circus she was about to be a part of, skeletons in her closet, just not worth the drama...who knows?

When it’s all said and done money will be paid, he’ll get a fine and suspension and in a year no one will remember. It will be on to the next scandal.

Just my take on it.

Some of them don't want their name out there. The first 2 that came out were pretty public about it but in cases like this you have to remember if they're telling the truth they didn't ask for any of this. It happens pretty often they tell the lawyer they don't want to have to go public but at a certain point that might change.

I know Watson's lawyer is saying we need the names to properly defend him but there's more to it than that, he knows perfectly well some of these women don't want to get dropped into a media circus so by demanding their names he increases the odds some of them drop out.

One of the first 2 has already said she had to change her number and drop all her social media because of them going public.

One of the plaintiffs that had filed a lawsuit against Deshaun Watson has dropped her lawsuit "for now" "in light of privacy and security concerns. "Plaintiff reserves the right to refile this case once such concerns are addressed," the court document reads.

Imagine being able to essentially pick any smoke show you want as a GF and it’s still not preventing you from fking up your career by getting off in various legitimate massage parlors.

Yeah, I'm sure the women are probably worried about getting death threats, it is TX we are are talking about.

Why didn't Watson come out and just say that he had consensual sex with the women instead of just flat out denying any involvement?

Maybe profiles on escort sites and things of the like are the “security” concerns.

None of this looks good for Deshaun, but neither do the tactics from the plaintiffs. False accusations are a real thing guys. About 1/3 of CPS/DCS hotline calls are determined to be meritless and frivolous. These things do happen. Motivations for such behaviors can range over a wide variety of factors, and money is one of the biggest.

Do you have a citation for that? I think I’ve seen 5-10%. I believe Shane has weighed in on what he’s seen from a LE perspective.

For sexual assault it's generally estimated that 5% are false reports....but that means that if you account for all the unreported cases, the chances a sexual assault report is false is exceedingly rare.

To expand on that thought, the chances that Watson is innocent have to be close to the chances of getting hit by lightning.

His lawyer is apparently now claiming he did have consensual sex with 3 or 4 of them.

I said this very early in the thread and it still appears to be consistent, the original claim on this included people saying that it appears Watson used massages to replace "groupies" because of Covid. the NFL had very specific and strict rules on contact due to Covid and the usual groupie in every city that an NFL player could have if they wanted was now against the rules and would get them suspended. It seems like he thought he could get around that by using massages and expected the women to give him the happy endings and sex that the groupies used to.

Apparently the first 2 complainants openly said that to the lawyer who's filing all these suits, he told me can't have groupies because of Covid rules so he's expecting it from me.
