I had Quest TV and wanted the faster version of thier DSL package. But, since I had the TV, it was taking my bandwidth and I couldn't upgrade from the basic DSL.

So, I gave up on Quest and switched to Cox cable. My picture quality with digital cable (digital on Quest also), was way better with cox. I think Quest compresses their TV signal too much and it hurts picture quality.

Nidan, Were you able to keep the QWEST high speed internet after you dropped their TV programming? I was told that can't be done. I will have to call back and talk to someone else. It is always a crap shoot when you’re dealing with Qwest. I love their internet but can't stand their Choice TV. If that is possible I am switching to Direct TV today.

Comcast will carry the NFL Network, which is not the NFL Ticket. NFL Network is a 24-hour cable channel which shows original content, as well as classic games and other shows. NFL Ticket carries out of market games and is only available on DirectTV until 2006 (I believe), at which time the current contract expires.

When will Comcast add it?

Cable America Digital & HD

I have Cable America Digital & HD service, along with HS Internet at my house...I think the HS Internet is great and very reliable but I find the HD & the Digital, especially for local channels, to be very, very bad on my HDTV. I have been pondering a switch to Direct TV or Dish, but have not made the commitment because I am not sure if the local channel quality would be much improved if their carriers are really that bad that the Cable America digital receivers can not clean them up....

Absolutly. That used to be true changed about 18 months ago, this is how my house it setup right now so it is fact not opinion.

Secondly the internet connection gets a little faster as it gets all the bandwidth. With the TV as well the guide takes up some bandwidth.

Thanks for the info.... It looks like the switch will be on

Qwest was good but they have no HDTV and you can only hook up 3 TVs.
