Not sure what the point is this early in the season. There is nothing to be won by firing the coach now, unless you really think the right successor is already on your staff.

I have their top WR and top RB in fantasy and they have been GARBAGE even with tons of talent on the offense.

Long overdue, but then the whole organization is dysfunctional. Interim coach while they look for a name who will take the job. PP's father just told me the Cards are coming down here next season. I did not know that.

Same thing was said about the Raiders last year and they have turned it around fairly quickly.

Most insiders say he never should have been brought back this year and should have been fired at the end of last season. Lost 3 of last 4 games 2014 and lost the players. Terrible staff. Ross blew the interview with Harbaugh and stuck with Philbin. Now the Dolphins have the rest of this season to find someone worthwhile to coach next year.

No wonder

In an effort to build Tannehill's confidence after that game, Philbin decided to try something different.

According to the Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson (via the National Football Post), Philbin told the Dolphins' practice squad players to go easy on Tannehill, so the quarterback could get some of his confidence back.

Apparently, Tannehill was throwing so many interceptions in practice that he was getting frustrated to the point where he would talk trash to certain practice squad players after they would pick him off.

"Enjoy your practice squad paycheck, enjoy your practice squad trophy," Tannehill would say, according to Wilson.

If the plan was to restore Tannehill's confidence, it didn't work. The Dolphins quarterback threw two more interceptions in Miami's 27-14 loss to the Jets on Sunday.

Tannehill wasn't the Dolphins only issue in practice last week. According to the Miami Herald, Ndamukong Suh wore tennis shoes to a full-padded practice on Thursday and many players took that as a sign that Suh was unhappy with the team's defensive coaching staff...
