This guy was born to be a Cowboy. Jerry is already covering for him.

I love that the Cowboys were somewhat decent last year to give their fans a small taste of success. However I think they take a major step back this year. It will be fun to watch all of their fans jumping off the band wagon again.

If Elliott doesn't get suspended, it will be hard to suspend any other player again.

For what? specifically

Lots of rumors. Lots of investigations. But theres yet to be 1 ray rice hard evidence anything that warrants it.

If there is, then absolutely suspend him. but right now, 7/21/17 what reason do you have to say he must be suspended?

Suspended for effing what? Things he hasn't been convicted of let alone charged with?

This is the kind of thinking that leads to college students getting booted from campus based on accusations alone.

I hate the Cowboys as much as the next guy but these events are fake news until someone has some proof that will hold up in court - and they don't.

I will concede that the top incident could be considered a personal conduct violation, but is it suspension worthy? What is even the precedent for something like that?

Hopefully we can be the start of that downfall.

I agree with this especially Elliott. He is definitely enjoying his limelight. To some degree that is ok. But in Dallas you have to be careful.

My only hope as a fan is that the cowboys are more of the 13-3 team that they have been 2 of the last 3 years than they are the 4-12 team of 2015. Even if they lose in the playoffs I'm ok with that because winning is nice. I think because of the way of the new NFL it is hard to sustain success. But not impossible if you have the right system. You can tell that the cowboys are slowly shifting to Jason Garrett and Stephen Jones fingerprints than from Jerrys. Either way the cowboys should be good offensively if healthy. The defense is their question as always.

I agree. So far the dumbest thing that Elliott has clearly done is pull that woman's shirt down. I mean that was in public and you knew that was going to creat a frenzy. As far as the nfls investigation on the domestic violence I'm not sure about. If they find evidence that he hurt someone then I think he deserves a suspension. But we are talking about a year long investigation now. Either you know or you don't know. If you don't know you should not suspend people. But I surmise they can do what is right by the shield. what is a 2 game suspension going to do anyway? He will probably appeal and it will go away or go down to 1 game.

These are the types of things that will get Roger goodell fired. He turns a blind eye to things that are not known to the public and then tries to hammer down on people after the fact to make himself and the league look better. His policies aren't about what is right. They are about what makes the NFL look good at the time. It's only a matter of time that his foot will be in his mouth on another topic. I admire what he has done to discipline bad behavior but he has been very inconsistent.

For some reason some of you think it has to be a convicted crime to warrant a suspension. The commissioner is tasked with upholding the integrity of the shield. This kids actions show a la k of remorse for his negative impact on the shield. Time for a suspension if goodell knows what's good for the league

honestly I don't know that he will be suspended. No you don't have to break the law to get suspended. But if he cooperates with the NFL investigation and they find no evidence of a crime that he committed I don't see them suspending zeek. Now maybe they know more about this than what has been reported. the right thing to do would be for Dallas to suspend him from the opener if they feel he violated team or NFL standards. But that won't happen

They're working out veteran street free agents. Sounds like Dallas is preparing for a suspension.

Wait, no, stop it right there. No words of affection like 'zeek' on a Cardinal forum... refer to the Cowboy in question as Ezekial, the guy whose name shames the Bible lol

Jane Slater @SlaterNFL

Jerry Jones on Zeke and league investigation says he's reviewed all the facts "I've seen nothing" (as it pertains to domestic violence)

Lucky Whitehead arrested.
All of these incidents remind me of how SF was run under Harbaugh/Baalke. Aldon (no explantion needed), Brooks busting a glass bottle over a teammates head, etc.

Pulling a woman's shirt off in public.

Do you consider her a victim?

Because me, the police, everybody else who watches that video and the girl herself all agree she was not sexually assaulted as you vehemently wish she was.

I'm going to go down to the HiLiter tonight and "assault" a few women.
