OT: Grandson in hospital

one of my grandsons is in the hospital tonight. Has had some terrible headaches and equilibrium issues. CT scan didn’t reveal any issues.

He is 12 years old and one of the bright lights in my life.

Had he had any Cuncussions or accidents. If the CT and MRIs come back negative. It most likely Post Concussion Syndrome and a Upper Cervical issue dealing with the brain stem and and the flow ofrom. The brain to the body. Feel free to pm me and I'll provide you with alot of info. Sadly its very easy for docs to miss this issue

It looks like that it may be a viral infection of some kind. They are giving him IVs and monitoring him for now. Not sure when he will get out of hospital.

Just heard some news. They are treating him for Rhabdomyolysis and think a virus caused it. Not sure the prognosis as to how long or what treatment will be done. Film at eleven...

Hope he’ll be okay soon. Did he recently have very strenuous exercise or stay out on the sun too long? I had a friend come down with this a few years ago. She hadn’t run few years, went on a ten mile run and was diagnosed with it the next day.
