OT: Grandson in hospital

Hope he’ll be okay soon. Did he recently have very strenuous exercise or stay out on the sun too long? I had a friend come down with this a few years ago. She hadn’t run few years, went on a ten mile run and was diagnosed with it the next day.

He did run a marathon with his dad but that was a couple of months ago. He is a very active kid and plays very hard. He is a very special kid, very tenderhearted and brilliant.

He seemed to be better after they got some fluids in him last night.

They took another blood draw but we haven't heard the results yet.

He has flu type B. Still pretty sick.

Update: Still in hospital. His CF levels started at 1900 and are down to 1200. They aren't supposed to be over 150 so he has a ways to go.

But, he's feeling better and the flu symptoms seem to be abating a it.

One last update. It looks like he is being discharged this morning. With some rest and being home I am sure he will be his normal self in no time. He is a resilient young man

Being a believer in miracles I never gave up hope and all of the support here and elsewhere in my life helps keep me focused and positive. Thank you all, again, for your prayers, thoughts, encouragements, etc., etc. It is much appreciated.
