I had a moment with him last February. I said, “congratulations on your new job coach.” The look on his face suggested I brought up the time his dog got hit by a car and died. I found it very odd. Later that day a story broke about how he hired a strength and conditioning coach that was fired for using racial slurs towards student athletes at Iowa… putting it all together, I think he jumped at that contract offer and has been merely biding his time since. He may not even secure a good ncaa job after all this.
