screw Sanka and screw waiting around for something that makes sense... I've been waiting since '93 when I got here (never lived where there was an NFL team to cheer for before that)... Warner is GOD, we only have any relevance in football at all because of Warner, Fitz, Boldin and to some extent, Breaston.

Eh, we never had the front 4 talent like JAX does to make him go against less 1 on 1s until last year with the addition of CJones which set his previous career high with 9 sacks.

CC is also doing better because the Jags do not have him as the only threat to get to the passer on the DL. We should realize how good he was now when apparently he was our entire interior pass rush, so teams spent their whole game plan knowing just stop him and it really opened things up for a effort guy like Golden in my opinion

This should also make us serious think about a guy like Peterson being wasted along with a guy like Chandler Jones with the way Bettcher and Keim has short changed them in regards to CC. I bet Peterson would have more interceptions even as a shut down corner if the scheme and talent around him gave him a even chance to succeed. What would Jones look like with a interior pass rush even with his sack total now... freaking staff is preventing us from comparing him to Von Miller and our right to a tall glass of sweet Kool Aid as a fan lol

Who do you think they have? Malik Jackson? Has Dante Fowler every really done anything other than get injured prior to this year, a year where he isn't a starter? Yannick Ngakoue? Arby Jones?

You can argue that Corey Peters, Markus Golden and Chandler Jones are significantly better than what the Jags have up front. Not even close if you ask me.

It is becoming evident that under Bettcher, our defensive personnel succeed despite him and at a fraction of what they could do under a competent staff.

Totally agree...just like Dansby did, TWICE!!!! Which means Campbell will probably be back to AZ, when he's 34, been cut by the Jags and looking for a 1 year prove-it deal...only to leave AZ again! lol

Some of us were saying this all along, the way the Cards used CC he wasn't going to get a ton of sacks, but he occupied double teams and freed other people up to get to the QB. Presumably Jax is using him differently and now he's freed up and clearly making hay.

IMO he's by far the biggest loss on the defense, we get no pressure at all inside now.
