Derek Anderson was re-signed by the Panthers.

Guess they needed someone to pose as Clark Kent.

great signing. when Toni broke his ribs against SF and had to miss a quarter, it was evident their season was hanging in the balance. kitna was just too old. i liked kitna though. one of the better backups dallas has had in a while.

Toni? I knew he was...
hahaha I spelled it that way because he gets hurt a lot. he's tough, but he gets hurt just about every year it seems. when the cardinals broke his pinky it cost dallas their season. they finished 9-7 and missed the playoffs.

And Jason Campbell signed on with the Bears. Josh McCown re-signed with the Bears to be a #3.

Lots of really competitive quarterbacks out there on the market right now.

Why'd you have to bring this up? :)

A year after we're desperate for a QB there are plenty available but when we needed one there were none.

It's like years ago when the player we wanted to draft seemed to always be taken one or two spots before we picked.

:(

If it had happened last off season we wouldn't have had to pay such a premium for Kolb. Stupid Lockout.

First rule of being a Cards fan. If some event should affect all teams equally, the Cards will find a way to be hurt worse by it.

Seriously?

Orton is below average to good depending on the day. Romo is consistently one of the upper tier QB's week in and week out, he just has the unfortunate circumstance of being on the circus that is the Dallas Cowboys.

His rating last year was 102 and for his career it's 96.9. Second all-time to Aaron Rodgers. Better than Steve Young, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Joe Montana, Kurt Warner, etc. I know QB rating can be a funny stat, but being ranked ahead of those guys has to mean something.

Orton can't hold a candle to Romo.

If he were on the Cardinals he'd be considered one of the best QB's in football.
