Well, Dudley wasn't a FA... we got him with Jason Richardson for Raja & Boris. Still, Channing Frye has to be one of the top free agent steals this year.

Well, cly2tw DID say "in a trade or as FA" so the point is still clear and valid.

In a van...down by the river.
Looks like they have found all the no-name great contributors on the cheap and stockpiled talent over the last couple of years. Their best player right now Brooks is only a late 1st-round pick. They got Scola, Lowry cheap. And, who is the Anderson guy? Even Budinger contributes.
I've like Carl Landry for the last two years. A nice PF who's looks to be having his breakout season finally.

I agree. His name was kicking around the board here a couple seasons ago..that was probably you. He showed promise early on...

How about that game against the Ain'ts yesterday? We were in it for a while there!

Yeah we had a chance at the end,put a scare into them for sure.
Good warm up for the pass happy Cards next Sunday too.
Spags has definately got us headed in the right direction IMO.
Brandon Gibson was a nice pickup at WR. You should head over to the RealRamsFans board, it's one of the better RAMS message boards out there.

The Rockets are just a damn good drafting team, they have been in the playoffs year after year and yet they STILL have drafted almost a whole new playoff caliber team from entirely not even close to lottery level draft picks.

Quite an amazing job.

This used to be true of the Suns as well prior to the Sarver years.

Is it true? The Lakers have played ELEVEN home games and only THREE on the road?

So to speak
Is it true? The Lakers have played ELEVEN home games and only THREE on the road?

Hasn't that been the case the last 2 or 3 years? Every year is the same BS.

You guys realize it still goes both ways, right?

The Lakers play 18 of their first 21 games at home.

However, they then play 5 straight road games, and 7 of the next 9 on the road.

Then from Jan. 6th to Feb. 1st, they play 8 straight road games, and 12 out of the next 15 on the road.

All evens out in the end, every team plays 41 home games and 41 road games.

Actually I prefer the Suns playing a lot of road games early in the season in case the team had problems with chemistry. It is best to lose on the road (working out the kinks) rather than at home. However, who would have thought the Suns would gel early and play well on the road. The Suns need to continue to play well on the road but particularly protect home court when they get a home stretch.
