You guys might find this hard to believe but I am a nice guy sometimes to a fault and sometimes I get bit in the hind end because of it. As some of you know, my wife and I are Eagles season ticket holders and this season due to many factors, we decided to sell our tickets, sometimes to friends and co workers. When I sell to people I know, I sell for face value(ranging from $80-$96 depending on the opponent). Well, I work with this one guy who is a Cowboys fan and I offered him my tickets earlier in the season and he agreed to buy them. I would ask him every couple of weeks if he still wanted them and he would give me an enthusiastic 'yes'. Well, a few weeks ago I asked him once again and once again he said yes but asked if he could give me the money the Friday before the game(this past Friday which was payday for us). I told him OK but that if he really didn't want them to tell me now because I could still sell them on Ticket Exchange for a decent amount, face value at least. Well, this Friday came(actually Saturday morning because we work the midnight shift) and he tells me his truck is in the shop and he can't buy the tickets essentially screwing me completely. A few weeks ago I could have sold them for almost over $100 over face value and now I'm going to end up eating the tickets at a $192 loss. So, shame on me for letting this guy string me along but never again. If any one wants me seats for a game, payment is now going to be within a few days, the next pay day at the latest or they'll go up on Ticket Exchange.
