LOL I love Jason he's one of my favorite commentators.

There were a few telltale signs in that article that it had an agenda and I won't point them out as I have so little love for Peyton it couldn't be less one way or another.

This story though the timing of it and all...

the racial issue is what motivated king to release the papers in the first place...he got butt hurt because the world was giving cam a hard time for being a sore loser while this issue has gone basically un talked about because....wait for it....Peyton is WHITE!!

to me, it speaks far more to classism than racism,...as do most of the issues in America.

rich daddy brushes it under the rug and tells you to never speak of it....

poor daddy snatches you by the ear and forces you to make a public apology...

it sure appears that King is a race monger.

Did Manning more than likely moon someone? Probably.

Did Manning stick his butt & other man parts on her face? I highly doubt it. Seriously...what are the chances a player while getting treatment from a trainer can pull his shorts down & stick his private parts in her face without her moving or getting away before his supposed attempt! Seriously?

Jason Whitlock calls out Shaun King;

tlock calls out Shaun King (not the quarterback)

Saturday’s bombshell from Shaun King (not the quarterback) of the New York Daily News has sparked plenty of criticism and scrutiny of Peyton Manning. Appearing on The Dan Patrick Show, Jason Whitlock of FOX Sports has applied some criticism and scrutiny to Shaun King.

“The guy that wrote this story for the New York Daily News, he’s not a journalist,” Whitlock said. “He’s a race hustler from Twitter, from the Black Lives Matter movement who stirs racial controversy to elevate himself. Listen, the guy’s been busted. First of all, he’s white and presenting himself as black. He said that as a child in high school he was allegedly attacked by a group of white people because he was black. Well, he wasn’t black and there were people saying that wasn’t why he was attacked and there’s no proof of it. He said that it was the first hate crime in Kentucky or whatever.,,

I'm not saying it's ok, but he was a kid then. Even if he is guilty of this, it certainly seems he's cleaned up his act. Maybe it caused him to change his life around.

Maybe. Maybe this story has nothing to do with the childish incident and everything to do with the actions after. Maybe I should read the story before sharing my opinion.

When did the Title 9 case actually get to the courts with Tennessee? I thought that was why it suddenly came out because they have 12 counts they're being accused of mishandling and not investigating correctly and Manning is the one of the 12 everyone has heard of.

I agree it's more classism than racism but it's also WHEN it happened. If Manning was a college player last year that story never gets buried, there was no twitter and facebook and other social media stuff when this happened.

People forget nobody knew Cam Newton had been booted out of Florida until he was leading Auburn to a National Title and people started looking into his past, nobody knew who he was when it happened. It came out 2 years later because he was famous.

Right, he was so anonymous he was Tim Tebow's backup.

When asked about the allegation resurfacing, Manning said he had "no comment at this time, and really just wanted to be left alone, so he could get back to drinking his nice cold Budweiser's."

Everyone is so sensitive these days. Can't even teabag your doctor anymore.

Seriously, this is what you get when you choose to idolize 20 year old boys.

After reading this crap for an hour I couldn't find anything about Peyton putting his sack on her face but just exposing himself as a joke which seems more like a boyish prank at that age. Yes it was stupid but because it's Peyton Manning it's a big deal.
I can't believe this is even news 20 years after it happened. It's not like he raped her or got away with a murder. I respect and like Manning just as much now after reading this stuff. All this tells me is there should only be male trainers allowed around male athletes.

I don't think you read far enough then.

Not only did the alleged incident get mentioned,it was the 2nd incident with Manning and the trainer, she said it was retaliation for something that had happened 2 years earlier that Peyton held against her. We don't know what happened that time because the agreement forbids both to talk about it.

one of the UT employees decided the correct approach was to lie,say Peyton mooned a teammate, the trainer accidentaly walked into him. Except the player named steadfastly denied Peyton had mooned him. What happened to the teammate? he lost his scholarship at UT because he refused to go with the lie they made up to protect Manning.

Archie has tons of stuff in there where he tries to label the trainer as promiscuous and talks about her having been with black people before.

It's just beyond disgusting if you read even a fraction of it and still think it was nothing.

It was ages ago but that's because they did such a good job of burying it.

No, there was a full article the other day that said she was attending to him at a trainers table and he slinked down and placed his genitals on top of her face/head.

Additionally, there was a massive coverup by the Mannings and the school and a total smear job of the victim. It is a big deal.

If this increases your respect for him, that is a very sad statement.

Except the teammate that he supposedly mooned completely refuted and denied that it happened, then lost his scholarship. Terrible coincidence for him I guess. The $$$ you mentioned couldn't have been a lot, considering she left a prominent position at UT to go work at a much lesser known university in Florida, and had to sue for defamation after the Mannings couldn't keep their mouth shut about what happened after violating the original NDA from the first settlement.

love how Manning gets the benefit of the doubt here... but the black guy is a race mongerer and the woman is already a gold-digger.

I'm sure Bucky would give Cam Newton the same benefit of the doubt here...

Maybe but you didn't exactly see Cam's daddy's extortion attempts hurt his son's ability to be the NFL draft's #1 pick. Which one is he rich...poor?

It's pretty sad to see some of the attitudes shown. The whole victim blaming of an educated, professional trainer that happens to be female in a male locker room is so backwards. And people wonder why race and inequality issues are still a problem, and they act like those things have been resolved and are in the past.

Get real....they are suing him for something that happened many many many years ago.
If it was an issue they should have done something about it then. I can't give my approval for an accuser when they are starting litigation years and years after the incident.
Yes there are victims, but they need to do something about it in a reasonable amount of time....waiting many years later to come forward seems shady/aka/money grab.

it's hard to even have a legit conversation with someone who literally doesn't even know what they're talking about. No one is suing Manning. Tennessee is being sued in a Title 9 violation.

If it was an issue they should have done something about it then. I can't give my approval for an accuser when they are starting litigation years and years after the incident.

And she did something about it years ago... and the Mannings paid her off... then disparaged her in the press numerous times even though according to the pay off, they all signed confidentiality agreements.

Yes there are victims, but they need to do something about it in a reasonable amount of time....waiting many years later to come forward seems shady/aka/money grab.

you literally have no clue what is even going on here.

I could be wrong...but doesn't tea-bagging take two to tango?? Or, are there other allegations being tossed at Peyton?

Secondly, why in the world would we expect anyone, let alone a stud college football player who was on his way to the NFL, to be a dramatically different teenager that you or me??
Hell, was I was 19 I did some incredibly distasteful stuff - with women. I played ball in college and the opportunities to "have fun" were aplenty. And because I was a hormone raging, and often drunk young man, I took full advantage of most of the opportunities that came my way.
I never violated the law... Did Manning?
I did use very poor judgement - which it sounds like Manning did as well.

I am so thankful smartphones weren't around in the early 80's!! It's a joke that this crap gets brought up now...

She did sue, there was a settlement and a non-disclosure agreement by both parties. The Manning violated the non-disclosure in his book by calling her out by name on the incident. All bets are off now...

It's a title 9 case there are 12 incidents that UT is being charged with mishandling.

The reason she has filed 3 claims is the original one was settled, part of the deal was neither side could talk publicly about it. Then Manning wrote a book and defamed her in the book, she sued, and won because of the NDA. Then Manning went on ESPN and defamed her again, and she sued and won again.

If Manning keeps violating the terms of the agreement, she has every right to keep suing him.

If he did what she said he did, it was probably sexual assault.

Makes sense that his entire good guy persona was just a marketing scheme for the nfl and advertisers. I'm sure they would do anything to keep it going.
