OT: Michael Vick In Trouble AGAIN

Apparently was with an entourage and got into some altercation with a man who was messing with his GF/fiance. Then a few minutes later outside the man he was in the confrontation with was shot. Vick is apparently lying about the details as well. Coincidence that this guy was shot within a few minutes of the altercation????

I think he is innocent of the shooting. I don't think he was there or pulled the trigger. If Goddell told him to not hang with anyone from the dogfighting days, it looks like he is guilty of that.

He could still be cupable. If he said, or did, something that could've be taken as an order (wish) to shoot the guy, then he is a party to the shooting.

I don't think he is the shooter either. But I also dont believe it to be a coincidence. I fully believe someone in his party shot the guy and all because of what happened with Vick. Probably much like aj said. Him lying about the time frame is what makes me think that. He's done in the NFL I bet.

There is no proof that he lied about the time frame as of now.

Yes there is. Listen to ESPN radio. They have video surveillance proving he was there right about the time of the shooting or just a couple minutes prior. Not leaving 30 minutes prior to the shooting like he claims.

this is the angle i've been hearing ... vicks guest list may come under some scrutiny and I think that's why he's saying he bailed before people showed up so he can't be tied to associating with them

i honestly don't know how it works if someone comes to you though ... i imagine you have to be able to have some kind of recourse to reject their company (short of shooting them)

it was held at a public club where anyone who was willing to pay 50 bucks could get in for Vick's bday... Athletes do this all the time to get VIP treatment at a club, while attracting $$$ and patrons to said club.

Man you nailed it on the head.... He's an athlete, not a Hollywood-type who needs publicity. So, I don't think there is a "business" reason for a public party. He's still living the Newport News gangsta fantasy (I lived near his old neighborhood for 3 years). What he should have done was have dinner with his family, open his kids' presents in the living room while eating cake and ice cream, and be in bed by 10pm.

I bet the guest list has disappeared. I bet the time stamp on the video wll be called into question. I bet Mike hauled-ass after the shooting (which he did not do but certainly knew it was heading in that general direction) then called his lawyer and the lawyer said to contact the police IMMEDIATELY and say, "....."

This guy should be done in football. Not necessarily banned, but the owners should just let him go. It might be best for Mike to have his celebrity taken away and have to earn a living working a 9-5 job. Then again..... he might be dead in a few years if he continues to make poor decisions without the money, lawyers, or supporting cast to keep him out of trouble.

I used to feel pity for him because of where he comes from, but he should have learned by now.
