I like B-Train, but he was in over his head as a solo guy. I thought the idea of bringing in a co-host to work with him was great, but IMO, he treated Jurecki as a guest... not a partner. They never really gelled and the show would stall.
Additionally, both of their knowledge base was primarily Cardinals, which is great in-season... but they really struggled during the lulls of the off-season.
I enjoy Bickley's blasts at the start of his shows, but those are prepared reads, not spontaneous. For all of Calvisi's goofiness, he is extremely quick witted, which makes him great for live events like radio talk.
IMO, some of Dan's takes are completely off-base, and I probably disagree with him more than any of the other 98.7 hosts, but that doesn't bother me. Personally, I think Vince is fabulous, and really the perfect partner for Bick, whom I consider a Phoenix outsider. Hoping four hours of them together doesn't get old.
