webber was a great coach, but he's feeling the pressure in urbana. i just hope our new coach isn't merely riding his coattails.

I believe the Westminister Kennel Club Forum would be the appropriate spot for this thread.

· The Saluki, royal dog of Egypt, is perhaps the oldest known breed of domesticated dog, identified by some historians as "a distinct breed and type as long ago as 329 B.C. when Alexander the Great invaded India."

· Salukis were widespread and appeared in Egypt were they were held in such great esteem that its body was often mummified like the bodies of the Pharaohs themselves.

· The Saluki was officially recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1927.

Obviously we all need a Football fix.:D

I graduated SIU-C in '91. The town has really grown up since I attended there. Hated to see My Brothers Place had closed down. Does the Bagel dude still sit outside of Gatsby's? Awesome times!

I met some girls from SIU at a bar in Tempe when I was in college. There were like a dozen of them on vacation. Me, my bro, & 2 guys named Hutch & Biscuit took them back to me & the bro's apartment.

Things were looking good - 3 girls for each guy - they were drunk & we were looking for love.

It was all fun & games until Biscuit puked on two of them & they all got disgusted & took a cab back to their hotel......

Some good hotties

His name is Winston isn't it? I know he was mentioned along with the Spillway in Playboy magazine as attractions to SIU. I hung out at Sidetracks and the Cellar.

If I'm not mistaken, that bar has been there a long time, although it used to have a different name (can't remember it right now). They tried to throw me out of there-----twice.
