The list seems endless and I cannot identify with/excuse any of this. It is barbaric.

It's simple. Are they Dems or reps?
Crazy that all of them randomly sent her unwanted dick pics.

In this day of social media, self incrimination via texts, pics, etc. weighs heavily on preponderance of evidence.
Me and South don't agree on much politically but I gotta go with him here. Sending junk pics is not only creepy but uncool.

Society has gotten so bad that a man is no longer aloud to be a man and women are the only ones allowed to flirt or be sexual in any way and that's just the way it is. In a society that's supposed to be liberal and open nowadays it's down right stupid. All men must cut off their balls and become units in today's world.

LOL

Nope, it is becoming a more advanced society where women should be treated as equals, and not demeaned and treated as sex objects. That is progress. Sorry if you feel threatened because you are no longer free to grab an ass or making sexual comments any time you want.

So by your standards, if a gay man who was you worked for in some capacity started commenting about how he wanted to pound your ass, and sent you dick pics, and grabbed your ass when you walked by, you'd be ok with that? And if 4-5 other gay men did the same to you weekly, you should just be happy that someone thought you were cute?

I’ve got a better question... why do you think moral values were actually better in the past? Remember, this is country where minorities and women had to FIGHT for the right to even VOTE.

Women and minorities have been treated like second class citizens forever. Just because we’re in a time where they actually have the courage to voice their grievances, doesn’t mean they didn’t exist previously.

I share my opinion
Since the women got enough power to show men stupidity, weakness and this paradoxically effected the family balance and without a family unit there cant be a well-functioning society

Should women have just sucked it up and continued to be second class citizens so the family balance would be okay... you know, except for the woman who was probably miserable?

Incorrect cause and effect. Men don't have to be stupid, sexist, etc. That is their choice. In the past, women, minorities, etc suffered in silence as second class citizens. You are saying in your world, the only way to make things right is to elevate the straight white male back to his previous position of power and privilege, and the concerns of others are not important.

It sounds like it is the male that can not adjust to the new realities of equality, and they are the ones that need to GROW UP.

I grew up in a two-parent household, where my mom and dad were equal, both worked, both did housework, etc. All four of us kids turned out to be very productive members of society. Many families break up because either the woman isn't willing to suffer abuse that she normally would keep quiet about, or the man can't be bothered to be the provider.

The good old boys club (aka NFL) is populated by more than a few Neanderthals. The frequency of sexual abuse , domestic violence, etc may not be increasing but the ability of the victims to expose the abuse has increased.

I am not saying NFL stands alone. Society , in general, has a problem.

For 10 weeks Lisa Olson waited for justice. For 10 weeks Lisa Olson endured the taunts of Boston sports fans who brayed at her for doing nothing more criminal than her job: to give them their daily fix on their pro football team. For 10 weeks Lisa Olson listened as the rumormongers ground out malicious gossip that she was secretly sleeping with the players, that the real reason she was in the New England Patriots locker room wasn't to cover the beat for the Boston Herald, but to look at naked football players.

Then, finally, the independent counsel's 60-page report to the NFL commissioner was released, and far from discrediting Olson's story -- as the rumormongers promised -- the report validated it. It concludes Olson most assuredly was sexually harassed by a group of Patriots players. While she was conducting an interview in the locker room, two or three players "modeled" themselves before her, "modeling" being a genteel way of saying they deliberately exposed their genitals to her. One "adjusted" his genitals and shook his hips in an exaggerated fashion. One, standing at arm's length from her side, naked, said, "Here's what you want. Do you want to take a bite out of this?"

Strangely, the report did not name these "two or three players," but said that no one who was there -- including the Patriots public relations director and some players -- made any attempt to stop it.

In reality, the fines do nothing more than establish the benchmark price at which players can wiggle their waggles at a woman. It's a Guy Thing, You Wouldn't Understand. The week after the Olson incident, Sam Wyche, coach of the Cincinnati Bengals, was fined one week's salary -- about $29,000 -- for refusing to let a female reporter in his locker room. He could have exposed himself and saved $18,000.

So now, if those actions happened, and the NFL suspended the players (as they should have done in 1990), would you claim the decline of morality?

FYI - Lisa Olson is a Phoenix Native, and was sports editor of The Lumberjack while I was at NAU
