That can also just be how your wired. Sometimes some things can’t be replicated or taught.

I absolutely do not believe that. The essence of leadership is getting getting desired outcomes from a myriad of personality types.

Your entitled to that opinion but some people are absolutely just more naturally calm under pressure.. Some handle it some don’t.

I agree that Reid has a lot to do with Mahomes' development and on field presence.

Sure, I saw that in the military but I also saw what a good drill could do for them.

This

In my business pressure makes diamonds or carbon

Some people just can't handle it and some can

Some can handle 2-3 things and that's it

Some can handle a steady barrage of issues and stay positive and calm

We call it the "It" factor

It can't be taught to a non It person

Heck I was one of them. 15 years ago when I worked at my current job I was used to working the ER and constantly be dealing in crisis. I even made a joke about my company CEO taking in the kid who ran around escalating everything.

Now I portray that calm

I became my boss thanks to his excellent leadership and now I give that to my employees

Eh....

If you aren't getting the outcomes you want that's an issue with you

That’s great for you that your capable. Worked yourself into the person you are today. But plain and simple not everyone is capable of the same outcome. Claiming such is just silly. Some people can get all the best coaching teaching and leadership in the world and still panic under pressure.

Been in this business 46 years and all the top people agree

Glad you got some good guidance in your career

You had it in you from the beginning. He brought it out and honed it sound like

I get the same results from every person on my team.

I have had zero turnover in 3 years despite a company mandated 3% wage growth. I lead a major company in employee engagement.

Your employees performance are reflective of you.

And I deal with them all very differently but still get the right measurable outcomes. If Kliff can't do that with one of 32 top level jobs, he has no business in that job

BTW that zero turnover in a wage restricted environment was during a pandemic, a decentralized corporate environment, the great resignation, and incredible inflation

Leaders lead by building growth in their employees. Kyler regressing (and he has) is an incredible indictment of Kliff.

We just had our big leadership conference last month and multiple leaders complained about "millennials" and I put the clamps on that.

I have several millennials on my team and they are awesome. If you can't find what turns them into high performers that's on you. I said in the meeting "You all sound really old when you say millennial as a perjorative. How do you plan on growing your team if you can't absolutely count on a generation?"
