Just heard it on ESPN radio update.

Man that team has just been decimated.

Finlay, Barnett and Ryan Grant all VERY good starter out for year.

Their #2 TE Lee is gone for up to 4 weeks as well.

Apparently Clay Mattews is hurt and not practicing as well as Aaron Rodgers. Both liekly not to play this week. Per ESPN.

Take the Dolphins! :D

my fantasy team is screwed.

This. My brother is trying to trade me Aaron Rogers now. He wants Ray Rice. I think I will decline.

Sad thing that Green Bay is that beat up. A lot of people had them going to the Super Bowl this year.

I think rodgers will still put up the numbers

Decline the trade because RR is more valuable than Rodgers, not because Rodger won't produce; he will.

I don't think the Packers are done, yet. They could be a lot healthier by the time the playoffs roll around and I think even with the injuries they're good enough to make the playoffs...maybe even by winning that division.

Oh, I think so, too, but I don't need a QB really, at least not enough to give up Rice.

Totally agree with the thoughts on the trade offer.

I don't think the Packers will automatically miss the playoffs. Just think their chances of waltzing into the big game are a bit slimmer now.

If I was a betting man I would bet that Aaron Rodgers will outscore Rice on a weekly basis in most fantasy formats. The question is who are your other RB's if you were to let him go?

Most of the starting FF QBs will outscore many of the top RBs, and that's kind of the point--the difference between the top QB and the 7th best QB isn't that great. The difference between the top 3 to 4 RBs, however, is great when compared to someone around #10, and it's compounded because most formats start 2 RBs and sometimes a flex.

It's not a matter of total points, it's a matter of value.

JMHO.

I agree. That's why I added the "who does she have if she were to let Rice go." Not to mention who she has at QB right now as well. Totality of the circumstance if you will.

That's why you need to maximize your combinations of players in relation to what the rest of the league has.

It's the same reason that Peyton Manning doesn't go #1 overall in most leagues. In fact, he doesn't usually go until round 2. The difference between P. Manning and J. Cutler in fantasy isn't as great as the difference between A. Peterson and C. Benson, thus making Peterson more valuable even though he's not going to score the same amount of points week-in and week-out as Manning.

C'mon Aaron Hernandez. He is/was my backup to Finley. The thing is, I just turned down a trade for Gates yesterday thinking Finley would be back in 3 weeks :bang:.
