No surprise there at all. The guy is half ********. This is why I couldn’t take seriously those if you who wanted us to take him #1 last year.

No need for this.

He had to be ignorant of the law. Only way this makes sense.
I have no doubt whatsoever that he was ignorant of the law. This is exactly why I couldn’t believe the people on this board who wanted to draft him last year. The guy has next to zero brain activity and all it took to know this was hearing him say about five words in an interview. You don’t spend high draft picks on dumb players or dbags. Why is that so difficult for so many on this board to comprehend?

Statement from Quinnen Williams's attorney, Alex Spiro:

Mr. Williams respects and follows the law. There was allegedly a technical issue with the manner in which the lawfully owned firearm was stored - and we expect the matter to be resolved shortly.

This.
It's legal to take a firearm on any flight as long as you announce your intention at the desk at check in, to be flown in a hard sided case that locks, the same as baggage that is not carry on. I think he had it in a suitcase that he was checking and got "caught".

The bigger issue is that he had a firearm in the state of NY that was only legally registered in Alabama (possibly. NYC is way more restrictive than the rest of the state).

Remember Plaxico Burris? That was worse.

I was on the “Draft Bosa” bandwagon and learned to love Kyler Murray. If Bidwill had drafted Quinnen Williams, the franchise would have been destroyed. Wow

Why on earth would you go to the airport with a gun. Jesus Christ
It's stupid yes & one should know better, common sense. However, people that have a permit to carry a concealed weapon probably think that's good wherever they go. He'll hire a good attorney & ignorance of the laws of New York will get him out of it.

theres been plenty of DTs worthy of top 10 picks. Are you just basing a DLs worth on sack total?

Suh has been double teamed and game planned for for years. That’s part of their effectiveness.

Eric Swann, Joe Greene, Cortez Kennedy just off the top of my head.
Yes sir. Loved Eric Swann. That DL was amazing, prior to Wadsworth getting injured. Joe Greene would've set many more Steelers records had he not gotten hurt in 75. Nerve damage in his left arm against the Raiders I believe? After that he played another 6 seasons but mainly as a decoy to free up LC Greenwood & the rest of the Steel Curtain. He was never the same after that, announced his retirement in 81.

lawyer stated he legally owned the firearm. His CCW permit was issued in Alabama.

he probably neglected to place the weapon in a locked case. Probably just tossed it loosely into the bag. I think he should be sentenced to 40 hours of firearms training. I’ll gladly accept the contract.

I'll take your word for it. I'm not a gun person so I don't know. I do know better than to take a weapon to an airport lol. If they teach that like you said, then he has no excuse.

Thank you, moderator (Chris) for pointing this out. Please continue to do your duties and clean out the post. I see it is still there. I think moderators should remove the violating posts. I, for one, hope you do .

If you, the moderator deems it wrong or a violation, then it should be completely purged from the threads (my opinion of course).
Thank you, for volunteering to do this work. :clapping:

People grave gravitate to what little power than can afford.we are humans

This is how it works. I can either reject the reported post, ban you, give you warning points for future bans, or just ask you to follow the rules.

Reject - No you definitely broke the rules

Ban You - I decided to pass on using my little power here since it is draft week, we are in a quarantine, and everyone is a little edgy.

Give you warning points - This is what I probably should have done but see above

Ask you to follow the rules - I will again ask you to do so. Don't post political posts here and don't smart off when you are warned.
